2 x Part Time Teaching Assistant (Temporary) including Midday Assistant

 

Role 1: Teaching Assistant: Grade 4, SCP 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183) pro-rata, term-time only (depending on relevant experience). Mornings 17 ½ hours per week plus 6 ¼ hours per week Midday Assistant: Grade 2, SCP 2 (£23,656 pro-rata, term-time only).

 

Role 2: Teaching Assistant: Grade 4, SCP 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183) pro-rata, term-time only (depending on relevant experience), afternoons 13 ¾ hours per week plus 6 ¼ hours per week Midday Assistant: Grade 2, SCP 2 (£23,656 pro-rata, term-time only).

 

Hours to be confirmed at interview.

 

Experience in delivery of support sessions such as Phonics, Social Skills, maths groups and interventions and general classroom support for KS1/KS2 children.

We require two temporary 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants (mornings and afternoons), initially until July 2026, with the possibility of extending it until Summer 2027, with appropriately acquired skills to enable them to play a proactive role in developing and adapting learning activities under the supervision of teaching staff. The role will involve assisting with intimate care and medical needs of an SEN child.
