The Harvest Festival

On Tuesday we celebrated our harvest festival with prayers, songs and verses led by our talented children. It really was a special event and was a perfect example of what our Catholic school is all about. Being able to share what we have with others and thinking about our neighbours is an important part of our teaching here in school. Thank you so much for all the beautiful gifts; I have already had several letters and phone calls of thanks.

Here are a few quotes: “A big Thank You to all at St.Vincent’s school  for the amazing parcel you delivered, what a surprise! And what an interesting and appetising parcel! I haven’t had a crumpet in years and white chocolate cookies sound wonderful – and a malt loaf is a treat at tea-time.” Another message read “Thank you so much for the Harvest Festival hamper it was lovely of you to think of me.”
