EYFS

The percentage of pupils achieving a ‘good level of development’ (at least ‘expected’ attainment in Reading, Writing and Maths) in 2016 was 69% compared with the national figure of 69%.

 

Year 1 phonics screening

In 2016, the percentage of children passing the phonics screening was 87% compared with the national figure of 81%.

Progress over Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) is now measured by comparing children's Key Stage 1 teacher assessment figures with their Key Stage 2 SATs scores (or Teacher Assessments in Writing) with a score of '0' representing expected progress (based on similar pupils nationally) and anything above this showing more the expected progress.
